Christmas is here – we celebrate God’s visitation of His people on earth. Jesus Christ, the son of God, is born for us. He is to us the light in our darkness, the cause of our joy, and the special gift to the world. We are celebrating today the beauty and joy of God’s love for us – the joy at the birth of Jesus Christ. Break into shouts of joy for the wonder and mystery of God becoming like us in the flesh! The son of God has been born for you and me. “All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.” (Ps.97:3).

How beautiful is this time when God speaks to us directly through his Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ!

In the gospel reading, we heard John’s introduction of his gospel, which highlighted that Jesus, who was born for us, is the word of God and God the Son. He was before the world began and has taken our human form to be with us. Those who behold Him with the eye of faith see His glory. We see that magnificent beauty of the divine plan for the world’s salvation, which is incomprehensible by worldly standards and hence unacceptable (John 1:14). As long as we continue to express this beautiful faith in Jesus, the Son of God born in our midst, we are counted among God’s family and inheritors of His abundant graces.

Have some moments and ponder on the mystery of Christmas – the mystery of Incarnation! Let us celebrate Jesus’ birth with lots of light in our souls, joy in our hearts, and gifts in our hands. Continue to be joyful and share your joy with others about today! Let these influence your mood and those of people around us and close to us. May the joy of Christmas continue to resonate in your hearts and within the walls of your homes. Amen.

I wish you a very happy Christmas full of every blessing you need.
