2026 marks the 200 years of St Mary’s existence on its present site. Previously, there was a church building on another site in the village. Records show that the first mass was celebrated here on 11th May 1826. Thank you for being part of this historic, continuing journey of our church.
Bishop Hugh will visit St. Mary’s on Sunday 18th October at 12 noon to join the clergy, congregations and visitors to celebrate a special Mass marking this anniversary. Please come and celebrate with us.
